Bukit Batok Water Festival 2010


Bukit Batok’s Integration and Naturalisation Champion (INC) Committee and Bukit Batok Grassroots Organisations (GROs) jointly organized the “Bukit Batok Water Festival 2010” on Sunday, 18 April 2010 at the open area next to Block 224 Bukit Batok Central. The event started from 2:00 pm and ended at 6 pm.

The event attracted more than 3,000 residents with a good mix of participants from Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Bangladesh and China.

Prime Minister Visited Bukit Batok Division


Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited Bukit Batok Division of Jurong Group Representation Constituency (GRC) on Saturday, 20 March 2010 at 6.30pm.

He was accompanied by the four MPs for Jurong GRC, namely Mr Lim Boon Heng, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office; Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister for Finance; Ms Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Education and Mdm Halimah Yacob.
